Rideau Ferry Yacht Club Regatta
This event, with a long tradition at Rideau Ferry, was revived with great success in 2007. Current plans are to make this a bi-annual event. It features all sizes of boats, from small runabouts to large hydroplanes. The commonality is that they are all very fast. The Rideau Ferry Yacht Club Conservation area provides a beautiful setting and a tremendous vantage point for the audience to watch these boats zooming around the waters of Lower Rideau Lake.
