Merrickville Fine Art Festival

Description: In its seventh year of operation the Merrickville Fine Art Festival provides the artists with a venue to showcase their art. The festival attracts artists from our own community as well as those from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. The exhibiting artists will exploit the intense colour blending capabilities of pastels, the manipulative characteristics of sculpture, the plasticity of oil and acrylic paints, the transparency of watercolours and the linear elements of graphite drawing. Artists will also explore other art disciplines and techniques such as photography, digital art, mixed media compositions and calligraphy.

The exhibit has a diversified array of fine art both representational and non-representational that should appeal to everyone’s palette.
