Description: Experience a unique event celebrating the holiday named for one of Ottawa’s founding fathers, Colonel John By. This event is the finale of the Rideau Canal Festival, a four-day festival celebrating heritage, boating, biking, and the environment. Live music, dancing, heritage demonstrators, costumed characters and kids’ games will take you back to old Bytown. Take a tour of the Bytown Museum for FREE and let the kids get their faces painted!
